The contest for the provision of the 677th place of Tenured University Lecturer was held on November 22, 2019. The Commission appointed

to resolve it, unanimously decided to propose Paloma Merello Giménez.

Paloma Merello is Graduated in Business Administration and Management and Doctor in Statistics and Optimization, as well as in Business Administration and Management, from the Universitat Politècnica de València.

Since September, 2015, she is a Professor in this department where she has taught various subjects of Introduction to Accounting, Financial Accounting, Analysis of Financial Statements, Accounting of International Groups, among others, in Spanish and as well as in Valencian and English. She has directed numerous Undergraduate Degree and Master’s Degree Final Projects. Likewise, she participates in educational innovation activities, highlighting its
oncorporation into a research project in this area. She has published
numerous articles in prestigious magazines. She combines various research areas
in which she applies her knowledge of mathematical
modeling to problems related to accounting research.
