The task of our research group focuses on the study of basic aspects of protein folding and anchoring in lipid membranes. Using simplified models, we consider the mechanisms of biosynthesis, insertion and packing of the membrane proteins in biological membranes, and also how these proteins interact with lipid environments to understand some related processes such as mechanisms of pore formation.
