Cryopreservation room belonging to the Cell Culture laboratory for the storage and management of frozen samples from users and the section's cell bank.
Cryopreservation room consisting of 4 nitrogen tanks and a Ranger that ensures the supply and filling of these tanks. It also has ultrafreezers, freezers and stainless steel Dewars for transporting vials.
The vials of frozen cells are stored in this room and are registered in a database developed for this purpose. Each user has access, from any computer, to the location and information of each vial of the group to which he/she belongs, being able to request the entry or exit of his/her vials from this application.
Both the location and the entry and exit of vials from the tanks will always be supervised and assisted by the section technicians.
The room has a gas extractor and a central detection unit with an oxygen sensor to guarantee the safety of users and technicians.

Request registration of the service by e-mail: tanques@uv.es providing the contact details of the person in charge of the group that owns the vials and of the collaborators who will also have access.
Request the freezing or thawing of vials using the management programme, filling in the corresponding form. For the delivery or withdrawal of vials, go to the facility during the hours previously agreed with the technicians in the following daily periods:
