The Laboratory of Social Sciences of the Universitat de València (Social·Lab) is a singular and versatile space for research and excellence training in the area of social sciences.
It is aimed at members of the Universitat de València and also at other universities and research centres. As well as public and private institutions and social organisations interested in social research.
Endowed with infrastructures and cutting-edge equipment, this laboratory is divided in three spaces, which are specialised in the application of social research techniques both quantitative and qualitative in all phases of the research process (collection, recording and analysis of data and information).
GOALS:
- To provide technical and infrastructural support for the development and execution of social research projects.
- To encourage collaboration and interdisciplinarity between the University's own research groups and those of other universities and institutions.
- To compile information that, in the medium and long term, could become a database of public utility on Valencian society.
- In the training area:
- To train students in the advanced techniques, tools and instruments that are subsequently used in the professional field of social research.
- To help students in the development of Final Degree Projects (TFG), Master's Degree Projects (TFM) and Doctoral Theses.
