The University of Latvia is glad to announce the FORTHEM Mosaic programme, which is planned to take place on January 19th, 2022, 14.00 – 17.00 CET/ 15.00 – 18.00 EET.
The idea of this programme is to acquaint FORTHEM students, academic and administrative staff with partner countries and universities, their history, actualities, culture and traditions.
The programme of the event:
14.00 - 14.45 CET – Online guided Riga city tour;
15.00 - 15.05 CET – Introduction of the programme;
15.05 - 15.15 CET – The University of Latvia academic and services proposal to exchange students;
15.15 – 15.20 CET – New campus of the University of Latvia;
15:20 - 15.50 CET – Introduction lecture about Latvia (Latvian Institute) lecture + video;
15.50 - 16.10 CET – Quizz “Latvia” – 25 questions. The winner will receive a small gift from the University of Latvia;
16.10 - 16.45 CET -History of Latvia – cultural and ethnic dimension – lecture by I.Runce;
16.45 - 16.55 CET- Video – 100 facts about Latvia: Paula Explains Difficult Things
16.55 - 17.05 CET - Some Latvian cuisine traditions – video.
