The students once completed the studies belonging to the training and research period will be able to:
List of competences | Description |
---|---|
Competence 1 | Demonstrate a systematic understanding of the experimental techniques used in Chemistry and the mastery of the skills and methods related to these. |
Competence 2 | Conceive, design, implement and adopt a substantial process of research with academic seriousness. |
Competence 3 | Make a contribution through an original research that could expand the borders of knowledge in the experimental techniques used in Chemistry and in its use in Chemical analysis and/or the characterisation of compounds, developing a substantial corpus, of which a part of this could deserve an authoritative publication at national and international level. |
Competence 4 | Make a critical analysis, an assessment and synthesis of new and complex ideas in solving chemical problems related to the use of experimental techniques. |
Competence 5 | Communicate with their colleagues, with the academic community as a whole and with society in general within the field of experimental chemistry. |
Competence 6 | Promote, in academic and professionals contexts, the technological , social and cultural progress within a society based on knowledge and the respect to: a) fundamental rights of equality of opportunities between men and women, b) the principles of equal opportunities and universal accessibility of people with disabilities and c) the own values of a culture of peace and democratic values. |
Competence 7 |
Design, implement and use methods of chemical analysis and of characterisation of compounds for quality control and of the safety of products in the chemical industry and allied, as in other fields such as environmental, food and agriculture and health studies. |
Competence 8 |
Design, develop and manage R&D projects or patent development, based on the use of experimental techniques, in public or private companies. |
Competence 9 |
Design, develop, and manage research projects, assessment, resources management, accreditation and validation in private or public companies. |
Competence 10 | Express properly the conclusions of a research and/or study through the development of reports, certifications and opinions of chemical character, as well as to present and defend them publicly. |
