Functions of the Economic Committee:

• To develop and submit to the Permanent Board, at the beginning of the financial year, an annual budget based on income and expenditures. This budget, after consideration of the Permanent Board, must be approved by the Department Council. Modifications to the approved budgets should follow the same procedures.
• To monitor the implementation of the budget.
• To develop and submit to the Permanent Board a draft of detailed analysis of the implementation of the budget of the Department.
• To exercise all the powers delegated by the Standing Board or the Department Council on economic and financial matters within the scope of their competence.
