Last 12th May, at the Faculty of Law of the UV, took place the seminar "Privileged procedural safeguards: between the unstoppable legislative impulse and the practical problem".
Ana Isabel Blanco García, assistant doctor in Procedural Law and María José Catalán Chamorro, FPI-MINECO, members of the excellence group MedArb, have conducted a seminar on "Privileged procedural safeguards: between the unstoppable legislative impulse and practical problems”. The seminar is addressed to the students of the subject of Civil Procedural Law on 12th May, 2017.
In this seminar, the processes and means of privileged protection existing in our legal system have been presented, starting from the practical problematic. Due to the socio-economic situation, they have undergone a transformation such as the protection of the mortgage debtor or the bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy mechanism.
In this respect, there have been professors from the Universitat de València as well as from other universities. As speakers from the Universitat de València have participated the Dr. Ana Montesinos García, as researcher and the professor Elena de Luis, as PROMETEO predoctoral (both members of the MedArb group). From other universities have participated the Dr. Diana Marcos, director of the department of Public Law of the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Católica of Valencia “San Vicente Mártir”, the Dr. José Juan Castelló Pastor, assistant doctor of the University Center of Defence (General Military Academy) of the Universidad de Zaragoza and the Dr. Juan Carlos Vegas Aguilar, of the Universidad Europea de Valencia.
