Full University Professor of International Privat Law of Universitat de València and member of JUSOST research project, Carlos Esplugues gave a lecture in the 31st Ordinary Conferences of the Spanish Association of Professors of International Law and International Relations (AEPDIRI), which were held at University CEU San Pablo de Madrid on 24,25,26 September 2025.
The conference entitled ‘Justice in a Global World: Courts and International Society’, and held for the first time in the history of the association at a private university: University CEU San Pablo of Madrid.
Professor Esplugues presided AEPDIRI between 2013 and 2017 and he gave a conference entitled ‘State and Justice: Marriage or Divorce?’, in which he reflected on the complex relation between state power and judicial function in a globalized context.
