INTERNAL STRUCTURE

The Department of Plant Biology of the University of Valencia currently
consists of two Areas of Knowledge: Area of Plant Physiology and the Area of
Edaphology and Agricultural Chemistry.
The Area of Plant Physiology is divided into two teaching units, one located
at the Faculty of Pharmacy and the other located at the Faculty of Biology, both
at the Burjassot Campus.
The Area of Edaphology and Agricultural Chemistry consists of a teaching unit,
located at the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Each of the teaching units has professor as a responsible for its internal
operations who acts as a coordinator before the bodies of the Department: the
Management Team, the Permanent Board and the Department Council.

The Department of Plant Biology is responsible for the teaching of different
subjects in various degrees of the University of Valencia, which are reflected in
the teaching section of this website.
