The new agreements modify the chair's name to "Horta de València: Heritage, Life, sustainable future" regarding its three new strategic lines of work.

On 5 May started the second era of the Chair Horta de València, with the support of the Valencian Community Foundation for Strategic, Development and Urban Innovation Promotion (Fundación Las Naves) of Valencia City Council.

Full time professor of Medieval History Enric Guinot Rodríguezand Dr. and Professor of Social work and Services Sergio Belda Miquel share the co-Principal charge, the latter being the substitute of Dr. anf Professor of Geography Joan Carles Membrado Tena whom we want to thank for his efforts these years.

The Chair's new titlel: Heritage, Life, Sustainable Future, refers to the new lines of work. The historic, material and human heritage study and dissemination in Horta de València; its current reality, lifespace and its people's problems with the changes of the countryside; and the social, territorial, economic and more aspects of the future.
