A team of researchers-doctors with experience in both teaching and research in national and international projects related to the circular economy in the water sector will be in charge of teaching the courses.

The Chair for Transformation of the Economic Model: Circular Economy in the Water Sector of the Valencian Government and the Universitat de València (GVA-UV), aims to promote research and application of the circular economy, especially in the water sector, by promoting two official online courses with the aim of training specialists in the design and development of circular economy projects and also in the public management of urban water supply.

The course on Design and Development of Circular Economy Projects, including the water sector, is approached from a practical perspective and is designed to learn how to use the main project management techniques, including the creation of an Operational Scorecard and the use of the most innovative software on the market.

The programme also includes the application of indicators and tools to guarantee the viability and economic sustainability of initiatives, as well as techniques for the monetary valuation of the social and environmental benefits generated in each project.

On the other hand, the students of the Public Management of Urban Water Supply course will receive extensive training on the organisation and management of the integral water cycle, incorporating both regulatory and administrative content and competencies, always from a practical perspective.

Specifically, they will learn in detail about the management of urban water supply, analysing indicators of efficiency and quality in the service, maintenance and management of facilities, as well as the study and assessment of costs. They will also learn to apply cost functions and use innovative instruments in the economic management of facilities.

Both courses have researchers-doctors who are members of the Chair for Transformation of the Economic Model: Circular Economy in the Water Sector of the Valencian Government and the Universitat de València (GVA-UV), with extensive experience in teaching and research in national and international projects related to the circular economy in the water sector.

Information and enrolment for these online courses can be done from the Training tab of the website www.economiadelagua.com or at https://postgrado.adeituv.es/
