The Faculty of Economics hosted a conference of analysis about the design and the effects of public policies in the fight against poverty, and the improvement in the labour market. The event took place on Thursday, 16th April (Sala Pilar Tamborero).
The conference initiated with the presentation carried out by Amadeo Fuenmayor, director from the Regional Taxation Chair.
Then, the section of presentations took place, chaired by Rafael Granell, director from the research group EvalPub. In this section, Bárbara López (EvalPub, Universitat de València), Gonzalo Romero (Iseak, País Vasco) and Hugo Cruces (Joint Research Centre, Sevilla) intervened. They addressed different perspectives about the design and the effects of policies related with poverty and labour market.
Finally, the conference concluded with the closure by Inmaculada Domínguez Calomarde, General director of Tributaries and Game (Generalitat Valenciana).
The activity took place in the Sala Pilar Tamborero (2P04), located on the second floor of the Faculty of Economics, in the Tarongers Campus.
This event was organised by the Regional Taxation Chair and the research group EvalPub of the UV, the Conselleria de Economia, Hacienda i Administració Pública of the Generalitat Valenciana, and the Department of Applied Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the UV.
