AIMPLAS has launched a program on product innovation and entrepreneurship, aimed at students and young professionals with an entrepreneurial spirit who wish to transform their ideas into viable projects in the field of plastics and advanced materials.
AIMPLAS, Technological Institute of Plastics, has launched a series of product innovation and entrepreneurship workshops, designed so that students with an entrepreneurial vocation can transform their ideas into viable projects within the plastics and advanced materials sector.
The program is structured into two main blocks:
Training workshops and seminars
During this phase, participants acquire key knowledge on:
- Innovation and creativity, applying ideation techniques and design thinking to generate disruptive solutions.
- Product development, through user-centered design methodologies and rapid prototyping.
- Agile project management, applying frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban to plan and execute efficiently.
- Idea validation, through testing and obtaining real user feedback.
Collaborative project workshops
In parallel, teams develop their own initiatives following a practical approach:
- Project definition and value proposition, ensuring that ideas respond to real market needs.
- Planning and milestone setting, with a clear and achievable work plan.
- Iterative development in sprints, applying the philosophy of continuous improvement.
- Use of collaborative resources and tools, enhancing efficiency and participant connection.
This entire process takes place within a key context for the plastics and advanced materials sector, where sustainability, digitalization, and the energy transition are redefining the industry and opening new business opportunities for those able to anticipate and respond to current challenges.
The experience will culminate in a Demo Day, where entrepreneurs will present their proposals to a jury made up of experts, companies, and investors. This final event will become a true showcase of innovation and a networking space with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering the launch of new ideas with market potential.
This initiative is supported by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, through the EMENTI 2025 grant program, aimed at promoting, encouraging, and fostering entrepreneurial culture in the Valencian Community.
