The Chair of Agri-food cooperatives has organised the seminar “Fiscal news for cooperatives in 2026”, which will be hosted next 26 February from 11:30 to 13:30 as part of the course “SeminariosCoops”.
The session will cover the main fiscal changes affecting the cooperatives business, focusing on the Tax on Companies, the VAT taxation from associates and the recent developments in international taxation systems that might affect the agri-food sector.
The following specialists on Financial and Tributary Law will participate in the seminar:
- Pilar Alguacil Marí, professor at the Universitat de València, who will analyse how cooperatives are fiscally regulated with the Tax on Companies.
- Pilar Bonet Sánchez, professor at the Universitat de València, who will cover the VAT taxation and the regulation of associates.
- Teresa Puchol Tur, doctor and assistant professor at the Universitat de València, who will examine the impact caused by complementary taxes and the BEFIT proposal on agri-food cooperatives.
The session will be moderated by Félix Corchero Albarrán, from Spanish Agri-food Cooperatives.
