On Thursday 10 and Friday 11 April, the Universitat de València will hold the 6th Workshop on Evaluation of Public Policies. The aim of this workshop is to present research related to public evaluation applied to different fields, as well as to stimulate debate around the topic.

The presentation conference will begin on Thursday 10 April at 3:30pm in the Pilar Tamborero Hall at the Faculty of Economics (2P04, second floor). The workshop will begin with an opening ceremony. The following conference will be a tax, benefits, and job market panel, taught by Amadeo Fuenmayor (UV) and made up of Milagros Paniagua form the Spanish Tax Administration (Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria), Bárbara López (EvalPub, Universitat de València), Begoña Cueto (University of Oviedo) and Anja Siegert (EvalPub, Universitat de València). After that, the second panel on Economics of Education will start, taught by Mauro Mediavilla (UV) and made up of Andreu Arenas (Ivàlua) and Edgar Perales (EvalPub, Universitat de València).
On the second day of the workshop, there will be another two panels. At 9:30am the panel on public policies for the aid of family and infancy will take place, taught by Teresa Savall (UV) and made up of Gabriel González-Bueno (UNICEF Spain), Adrián Hernández (Universidade de Vigo) and Georgina Solaz (EvalPub, Universitat de València). The last panel of the workshop will address the topic of wealth tax taught by Rafael Granell (UV) and made up of Juan Gabriel Rodríguez (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), Rosa M. Cañaveras (University of Castilla-La Mancha) and Rubén Amo (EvalPub, Universitat de València). Lastly, a closure ceremony will take place.
This event is part of the workshop series organised by the Chair for Regional Taxation and the EvalPub research group of the Universitat de València, the Department of Applied Economics of the Faculty of Economics (UV) and the Department of Finance and Economic Model (Valencian Government).
