The Joan Fuster Chair was created by the Universitat de València in 1993 in order to study and disseminate the work of the writer and the research and reflection topics he approached, in the area of human sciences. It is affiliated to the seat of the Inter-university Institute for Valencian Language of the Universitat de València.
