This Jean Monnet European Banking Public Law Chair will focus on the development of a wide range of activities on public banking law in the European Union, such as organizing and participating in seminars, conferences, congresses and summer courses, carrying out scientific publications or preparing of a newsletter on banking law in the European Union.

The relevance and timeliness of the study of Public Banking Law in the European Union does not escape anyone. The creation of the European Banking Union has meant the greatest institutional transformation since the creation of the European Economic Community. The subject requires attention, explanation and disclosure, which is what is intended with this Chair.
