Román de la Calle, after making a donation of 40 works by contemporary artists in 2016, now completes the donation with the delivery to the University of two portraits of the Valencian painter Uiso Alemany, in which the bust of the professor is represented with the dynamic and spontaneous lines that characterize the production of this artist. The university professor, also a woman, now has a cover study for the "Edetanos Ilustrados" magazine, composed by the multidisciplinary artist Martín Forés and a portrait of Miquel Martí Pou made in digital graphics by the painter and sculptor from Alcoy, Antoni Miró.
Román de la Calle is Professor of Aesthetics and Art Theory at the University of Valencia, essayist and art critic. He has been director of the University Institute of Creativity and Educational Innovations of the University of Valencia and promoted the creation of the Contemporary Valencian Art Documentation Center, attached to it and which today bears his name. After his retirement, he was appointed Honorary Professor of the University.
