Dubravka Mindek will teach the seminar "Love in a suitcase. Displacements and (re)encounters of long-distance emotional couples."

Dubravka Mindek is a professor and researcher at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (Mexico) in the group "Social and cultural studies: (in)equity and diversity." Dr. Midek has focused on gender, family, marriage and migration studies in rural and post-indigenous contexts in Mexico. She is currently doing a stay as a guest professor at the IUCIE.

The seminar of the MIDICO research group (Migrations, diversity and social cohesion) will deal with international, cyclical and temporary migrations of emotional couples and will combine a bibliographical foundation with an empirical base focused on interviews with Mexican women who have maintained long-distance relationships with European men.
