“Over Land and Sea. The long-distance trade, distribution and consumption of ancient Greek pottery”.
Professor Agustín Diez (Arqueologia UV), Alejandro Garés (UAM – UV) and Diana Rodríguez (Uni Oxford) have just published an edited volume with BAR Publishin. This volume presents new insights into the movement of and trade in Greek pottery across the Mediterranean region (ca. 600-300 BCE).
25 researchers of different nationalities have joined forces to identify the routes taken by Greek ceramics across the Mediterranean Sea to distant lands and to consider how they were consumed by a multiplicity of audiences. Case studies cover a diverse range of cultural and geographical contexts, from the Iberian Peninsula to Thrace.
