The Master's Degree in Archaeology of the University of Valencia started with the 2009-2010 academic year, once obtained the verification of its curriculum by the Council of Universities, after a positive report by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain, and according to the official status of the degree by the Council of Ministers of 4 June 2010 (publlished in the BOE 28 June 2010).
For the 2012-2013 academic year, both the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) as well as the Valencian Agency for Assessment and Prospective (AVAP), issue their positive report for a modification of the structure of the curriculum of the Master's Degree in Archaeology.
