On next 10 October, in the framework of the Ada Lovelace Day activities of ETSE-UV, there will take place a talk discussion with women entitled to the ETSE-UV and of relevance in their professional environments.

The activity is focused on the presentation of professional experiences in different levels showing main achievements, drawbacks, achievements, advantages... that women find in their professional performance, in a format of proximity that facilitates the exchange of opinions with the attendees.

It will join us:

-          Mayte Bacete. Director of MaxLinear Hispania.

-          Inés Picazo. Head of Environment. Saggas.

-          Silvia Quesada. Consultant in Mercadona. Indra.

After a presentation of her professional trajectories we will hold a colloquium with the participants in whom we will expand the vision of the role of women in technology and engineering.

It is well known that the presence of women in engineering studies is well below that of other degrees in the university. The realization of activities to make visible the figure of Ada Lovelace and the work of the engineers will contribute to foster the feeling of belonging to the collective of both genders of engineers.
