The Technical School of Engineering (ETSE) at the Universitat de València (UVEG) offers one of the most requested Master’s in Bioinformatics in Spain.
This year we have seen a record number of 226 students pre-register for the 26 available places. The students are from 57 different universities across 14 different countries.
If we count only those pre-registered during the first phase, the university with the highest number of pre-registered students was the UVEG, with 32 students, followed by the Polytechnic University of Valencia with 17 students. This is followed by the University of Castilla La Mancha with 7, the University of Alicant with 6, and the University of Murica and the University of País Vasco, both with 5.
The Master’s Degree is taught by an excellent group of professors, the majority leading researchers in bioinformatics. Many of them are researchers in the I2SysBio research group. A third of the professors are from external entities and are experts with prestigious acknowledgments in their areas of research.
It should be noted that the studies of employability conducted by the UVEG show that 100% of our graduates are currently working in bioinformatics. Undoubtedly a success shared by teachers and students.
