The University of Valencia, through its employment service, has launched the first mentoring programme to improve employability for UV students. The application period will remain open until next June 15th and will be carried out online through the UV Online Office.
The new UVjob initiative is called Shadowing and is part of the activities to boost employability promoted by the Office of the Vice-principal for Employment and Training Services, with the collaboration of Banco Santander.
Participation is free of charge and all the information about the requirements to be a mentee and the application process can be found at this link.
Mentees will be trained by mentors, who are all prestigious professionals, in order to improve their employability and career development.
Therefore, the programme’s ultimate goal is for mentors to guide and advise mentees on their path towards employability through the transfer of their experiences and knowledge.
The programme will take place over three mentoring sessions between September and October of 2021, and mentees will also participate in various activities, such as seminars, talks and lectures.
