What are the IBSA Admission requirements?

The course leaders at each IBSA partner institution are responsible for selecting the applications received by the respective institution. If you wish to study at the University of Valencia during the first semester, you need to send ONLINE your pre-enrolment form following the postgraduate requirements.

Please see compulsory documentation for pre-enrolment to official master studies. In addition to these documents, the iMBA master requires the following documents for admission:

  • In order to participate actively and effectively in the Course, students are adviced to have a sound basis of knowledge of business and economics at undergraduate level. They must therefore hold at least a second lower class degree relevant or cognate to Business Management (e.g. Bachelor Degrees in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Management). If they have another BA degree, it is advisable to give proof of a participation in at least several Management classes and/or provide proof of additional relevant skills or professional experience.
  • Proof of English Language proficiency via recognised testing IELTS or TOEFFL. Approximate levels: IELTS (6,5); TOEFL paper (550); TOEFL computer (213); TOEFL Internet (79). Exemptions may be made if an applicant undertook a substantial part of his / her studies in English
  • GMAT or proof of quantitative skills: It is necessary only for the specialization in International Finance & Investment at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW).
  • Letter of motivation: an essay outlining student’s interest in the programme.
