The aim of this master’s programme is to broaden clinical care and management training specific to oncology nursing, which requires specialised education in order to achieve more effective professional integration. Furthermore, in light of the increased autonomy that nursing has attained over recent decades, another key objective of the programme is to promote research training for oncology nursing professionals, enabling access to doctoral programmes in Nursing currently offered at the University of Valencia.

Therefore, this master’s degree seeks to train and enhance both the clinical care roles of nurses in the field of oncology patient care and those tasks related to management and research within oncology.
