The Shared Information Environment (E.I.C) is an initiative created in 2009 by ASMI WAIMH España, the Institute for the History of Medicine and Science (CSIC-UV) and the Master’s Degree in Perinatal and Child Psychology and Psychopathology of the Universitat de València.
Through this platform, it is intended to promote access to scientific research production, both public and private, in the area of Health, Education and Perinatal and Child Psychology and Psychopathology, and also in other knowledge fields that benefit the perinatal, chid and parental mental health.
Thanks to the creation of this Shared Information Environment, the research through the exchange of knowledge provided by different authors is promoted.
Through this space, Spain invites a wide professional sector, university institutions, foundations and association to join this initiative in order to elaborate an updated and dynamic register built on three pillars: the Documentary collection, the Intercommunication and the Meetings.
- Documentary collection: it is a specialised database that promotes research through reciprocal, flexible and generous collaboration in scientific information exchange. The access to the documentary collection is free for everyone who is interested.
- Intercommunication: it is intended to encourage interdisciplinary communication between people, groups or research institutions (universities, hospitals, schools, private centres, etc.)
- Meetings: international meetings between researchers are promoted, as well as the participation of Spanish and Latin American researchers in international forums.
