Dr. Núria Gironès gives the conference “Immune Response and Diagnosis of Chagas’ Disease”

Núria Gironès is Dr in Biological Sciences and expert in Immunopathology of Chagas’ Disease. She is Associate Principal Researcher to the research group of Dr Manuel Fresno of the Center of Molecular Biology "Severo Ochoa” of Madrid and her investigation aims to develop works oriented towards the study of the Immunoregulation in infection by Trypanosoma cruzi. She is the author of several publications in journals of high impact of the specialty on the subject including aspects of Molecular Biology and Immunology of the disease.

Dr Girones is currently Principal Researcher of the Project “Role of the microRNA in infection by Trypanosoma cruzi” within the Research Projects of the National Plan of MINECO, Spain.
