Students of the Master's Degree in Tropical Parasitic Diseases learned about complementary practices that can be used in the treatment of infections.
In this thirty seventh edition of the Master's degree, the students were offered an interesting talk on alternative therapies used both to prevent parasitic infections and to counter their symptomatology.
The lecture was given by a former student of the Master’s degree, Ms. Carla Pons, who has been involved in the study of phytoteraphy, medicinal plants, biomagnetism, acupuncture, and traditional medicines, such as Chinese medicines.
This new approach to de-worming should be considered as a valid alternative, complementary to the usual methodologies when, in certain patients, the expected results are not achieved.
