On 30 January 2026, World Neglected Tropical Diseases Day will be commemorated.

This formal recognition by the WHO highlights the importance of this day within the framework of international public health and strengthens the global commitment to addressing Neglected Tropical Diseases.

Health workers, cooperation agencies, and community and civil society organizations —which play a key role in collective efforts to eliminate and control these infections— are encouraged to implement comprehensive health actions focused on populations and communities.
