Universitat de València, through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Territorial Projection and Society, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Sport of the Valencian Government (Generalitat Valenciana) and Caja Popular presents the exhibition “Territori valencià, Territori runner” (Valencian region, runner region) which stresses the growing social and cultural importance of this phenomenon on the basis of the contributions of around 40 researchers of the Universitat de València and another experts in this field.

The region of Valencia registers the highest rate of popular athletics in the whole State. In this multidisciplinary and versatile pioneer exhibition on the great importance that running is acquiring in the Valencian society, really diverse aspects such as health, physiology, living standard, nutrition, injury prevention, psychology, biomechanical, physical training, doping, sponsorships, modalities, and so on will be analysed.
