Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to the lecture to be given by Dr. Alicia García Giménez on July 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room of the Department of Legal Medicine.
The title of the presentation will be:
"Ferroptosis: a new vulnerability in B-ALL when CREBBP is genetically or pharmacologically inhibited"
Dr. Alicia García Giménez is a postdoctoral researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Health, where her research focuses on metabolism in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, where she worked on new treatments for B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and on the development of new animal models.
Previously, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and a Master's degree in Biomedical Biotechnology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, where she carried out her Master's thesis at La Fe Hospital in Valencia.
We believe this talk may be of great interest to the department, and everyone is invited to attend.
If you are unable to attend in person, a Zoom link will be available to follow the talk online.
Best regards,
Julio Madrigal
