The Nutraliment group at the University of Valencia is participating in the new international project “Taking Off Together for Intergenerational Global Health: Technologies, Primary Care Networks and Participatory Methodologies (TakeOffTogether)’ (EULAC_2025-325)”. Jesús Blesa is the principal investigator of one of the participating Spanish groups and has a team composed of Mª José Esteve, Cristina Juan, Manuel Lozano and Clara Cortés. This initiative, funded under the EU-LAC programme, brings together institutions from Brazil, Argentina, Germany and Spain with the aim of developing innovative technological solutions that reduce inequalities in access to healthcare among vulnerable populations.
A technological ecosystem to improve primary care.
The project proposes the creation of an integrated ecosystem of health technologies, combining digital health platforms, interoperable biomedical data systems and medical engineering methodologies. The aim is to establish a technical framework capable of providing equitable healthcare, adapted to different social, economic and cultural contexts.
The expected technical results include advanced digital platforms for data collection and analysis, implementation protocols adaptable to different healthcare environments, and a validated architecture for service delivery that incorporates telemedicine as a key component.
An international project with strong European and Latin American participation.
The project consortium is made up of institutions from four countries:
Coordination
• Brazil — Universidade Anhembi Morumbi
Partners
• Spain — University of Valencia (Nutraliment Group, IP Jesús Blesa)
• Argentina — National University of La Plata
• Germany — Bielefeld University
• Spain — Vall d'Hebron Research Institute
