Dr. Diana Castilla is Professor of Psychopathology at the Faculty of Psychology, in the Department of Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatments at the University of Valencia. She has a degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia and a doctorate from the Universitat Jaume I de Castellón (2014), where she obtained a special doctorate award. She has been a researcher with the Labpsitec research group at Universitat Jaume I (2005-2022). 

Currently she leads the resaerch group "SAEM-TIC, Mental Health Technologies", at Universitat de València.

Her main line of research is the use of Information and Communication Technologies in the field of Clinical Psychology and Health. Since 2005, she has been involved in the design, development and clinical validation of different technologies in several projects (local, national and European research projects) as well as in research contracts with both public and private entities. As a result of this activity, Dr. Castilla has 17 intellectual and industrial property registers on different technologies for psychological assessment and intervention. Among these, she is co-author and co-owner of  "Pain Monitor" APP, a validated app for telemonitoring patients with chronic pain, distinguished with awards such as "best health APP 2018" and "best APP in medicine 2019"  in Spain. She was also responsible for the design and development of the Mayordomo application, awarded in 2013 with the international prize LLGA Cities Pilot the Future as the “best technological solution for the elderly” worldwide (San Francisco, USA).

Author of numerous scientific articles, as well as book chapters. She has also been a speaker at various courses on the use of ICTs in Mental Health, as well as at many national and international scientific conferences. He has been teaching in different universities (Universitat Jaume I de Castellón, Universidad de Zaragoza, Universidad de Navarra and Universidad de Valencia) since 2015, in subjects of the degree of Psychology and the Master of General Health Psychology.

Ausiàs Cebolla i Martí, graduated in Psychology from the Universitat de València (1996) and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Valencia (2007). He currently works as a professor in the Faculty of Psychology, attached to the Department of personality, evaluation and psychological treatment of the Universitat de València. Member of the research group IPSITEC (https://www.ipsitec.com/) since 2007. His areas of research are mindfulness and meditation (both in terms of effectiveness in interventions and research on mechanisms), virtual reality, positive psychology, and healthy lifestyles. He has participated in local, state, and international research projects. He has collaborated in multiple scientific publications in high impact journals and has participated in national and international conferences. He is especially interested in establishing bridges between meditation and positive psychology. In this line, he has co-designed the Contemplative practices-based well-being program.

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Personality, Evaluation, and Psychological Treatments at the University of Valencia, and I am also affiliated with the Polibienestar Institute. I have been a member of the research group I-PSI-TEC (www.ipsitec.com // @ipsitec) since 2012. Additionally, I am a researcher in the CIBEROBN group “Pathophysiology of Obesity and Nutrition” (CB06/03/0052), an initiative of the Carlos III Health Institute.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, awarded with the Extraordinary Prize in 2010, followed by a Master’s in Advances in Research and Treatments in Psychopathology and Health, as well as a Master’s in General Psychology, all completed at the University of Valencia. In 2012, I obtained a predoctoral FPI contract to carry out my doctoral thesis under the supervision of Prof. Rosa M. Baños at the University of Valencia. During my fellowship, I was awarded a research stay of three months at Boston University. In July 2018, I obtained my PhD with the distinction of Excellent Cum Laude and an International Mention.

My research lines are framed within experimental psychopathology, focusing on the study of emotional and cognitive processes in psychological disorders; the development of clinical and health psychology interventions supported by Information and Communication Technologies; and the identification of protective variables in psychopathology, as well as the promotion of the well-being dimension in mental health.

I have participated in various national, European, and regional projects as a team member or researcher. Currently, I am co-Principal Investigator with Dr. Baños on a national project funded under the 2024 call of the R&D&I Plan, focused on promoting positive body image in women across different life stages.

Assistant Professor at the University of Valencia (UV), where she obtained her PhD in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology. She has extensive teaching experience in Clinical and Health Psychology at undergraduate, master’s, and continuing education levels, having participated in teaching innovation projects and serving as a tutor and supervisor for students.

Her research focuses on two main areas: (1) the design and implementation of intervention programs to foster socioemotional skills across different populations, contexts, and modalities (face-to-face and online); and (2) the assessment and psychological intervention in chronic illnesses in children and adolescents. She is a member of the EMINA Research Group at UV and serves as secretary and board member of the Spanish Society of Clinical Psychology in Childhood and Adolescence (SEPCIJ).

She has collaborated on numerous national and international research projects, including Erasmus+, and maintains agreements with hospitals and foundations that enable the transfer of her research into clinical practice, particularly in providing psychological support to pediatric patients and their families.
