Synopsis:Under the doors of the ancient temple of Rashomon, three men take refuge from the rain, while discussing about the murder of a man and the rape of his wife. They wonder what about the truth of what happened, as four versions of the same event are told: the version of the murderer, that of the raped woman, the victim and the only witness.
