Alejandro Armellini
Professor and Dean of Digital and Distributed Learning at the University of Portsmouth (UK). Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. He has also worked at the universities of Kent, Manchester, Leicester and Northampton in the UK, and at ORT Uruguay University in Montevideo.
1 hour- Scene-setter seminar-To introduce the week’s objectives and set out the key principles that underpin them.
7 hours- To demonstrate, in practice, a well-established and scalable framework to support innovative team-based learning design for different modes of study.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have:
- A solid understanding of the enABLe process as a team-based approach to learning design.
- Experienced key components of the workshop as “course team” participants.
- Reflected on its possible application in their teaching contexts.
- Contributed to a viable local version of enABLe.
To obtain the final certification, you must obtain the qualification "Apto" in the course and therefore must have met the following evaluation criteria:
- Attendance at the entire workshop.
- Active contribution to the tasks.
