Visit to the Ombuds Office of the University of Barcelona

Team that visited the Ombuds Officer of the University of Barcelona

In 1 April the Ombuds officer of the University of Valencia, Carmen Carda, and the two vice-Ombuds officers, Fuensanta Doménech and Laia Mauri, travelled to Barcelona to meet with the Ombuds officer of the University of Barcelona, Antoni Mirambell, and his assistant, Lluís Caballol. The meeting was held in the Agustí Pedro i Pons building, located in the higher part of the city, where the headquarters of the Ombuds Office of the UB are also located. The reason of the meeting was the exchange of knowledge around the computer systems and the data bases that the two bodies use, with the objective to share workings, statistical data and formats, among one another. The two Ombuds offices have compromised to keep working together in this initiative and provide continuity to the collaboration of the two bodies so to watch over more efficiently, to ensure respect to the rights and liberties of the members of the university community. The team of the Ombuds office of the UV wants to thank the colleagues of Barcelona the nice welcoming and the outstanding treatment received during the visit.
