Scholarship application for the academic year 2024-2025 in Valencian Community universities.
Purpose of the call
RESOLUTION on 30 December 2024, call for scholarships of university studies (fee exemption) for the academic year 2024-2025 in universities within the Valencian University System.
General requirements for admission
In order to be suitable for the scholarship, one must abide these requirements:
a) You have to be a Spanish citizen or a citizen of a member country of the European Union. European Union members’ citizens and their relatives, granted free movement and residence rights, don’t need to be permanent residents or present documentation that proves they are freelance workers.
Only married individuals, legal partners and direct ascendants and descendants of 21 or less will qualify as “relatives”.
In case of non-community foreigners, they will be under the regulations of foreign rights in Spain for social inclusion, residents will be excluded.
These requirements must be accomplished up to the 31 December 2023. As an exception, refugees and individuals under protection programs may have received their residence up to the 31 August 2024.
b) You must present the documents of administrative residence in the Valencian Community within the application period (certificate of registration in the City Hall). This requirement must be fulfilled throughout the academic year.
c) You must be enrolled in studies that will grant you a university degree graduate (second section, part 1 of this resolution) in a university member of the Valencian University System during the academic year 2024-2025.
d) You must not have the legal requirements to directly obtain a graduate of the same or higher level for which you apply the scholarship within the application period. Individuals who are lacking proficiency in a foreign language and nothing else to get their graduate will not be suitable for this scholarship.
e) You must fulfill the financial and academic requirements in this resolution.
Suitable studies
You will be suitable for a scholarship if you are to enrol in university studies during the academic year 2023-2024:
- University degrees within the European Higher Education Area resulting in a degree or master's degree graduate.
- Complementary training for the entrance or obtaining a master's degree graduate or complementary ECTS Credits for a degree graduate.
Doctoral Studies and higher studies, specialty studies and university-specific degrees are not suitable for the scholarship.
Scholarship function and amount
- For students of public universities, the scholarship will consist in the fee exemption for the ECTS Credits enrolled.
- This will only cover first and second enrolment of those credits.
- The scholarship won’t pay for any credit over the minimum demanded for the graduate. The scholarship won’t pay for special expenses due to validation, recognition or adaptation of studies, subjects and credits.
- Exemptions and bonus for the fee payee will be excluded from the scholarship amount.
- Fee exemption by university academic service will only pay for ECTS Credits and subjects the student has enrolled in for the first or second time in only one degree or specialty.

Students applying for the scholarship have to fulfill the following form.
Application submission
The application form can only be submitted online on the GVA administrative proceeding platform.
Once the student has submitted the form, they will have to include their digital signature in the UV Online Office and submit it via the corresponding proceeding. It will be considered received once the student has received the document of their application form; make sure to keep this document at all times if needed.
