Faced with the climate crisis, urban expansion, and inequalities, Geography provides practical solutions. It is not about memorizing maps, but about understanding the relationship between people and the physical environment to build a more sustainable future.
You will learn by connecting directly with the territory through numerous field trips and the use of cutting-edge technologies in our facilities (GIS, Remote Sensing, and Geomorphology Laboratories, and the Map Library). In addition, you will apply what you have learned through internships in companies and institutions.
With an employment rate exceeding 85%, you will prepare yourself for a global and changing labor market. You will be able to work in climate change management, urban planning, environmental consulting, geomarketing, geodata technologies (GIS), or teaching, among many other job opportunities.
Our department merges natural and social sciences to respond to the most urgent current demands, from mitigating natural risks to respectful rural and urban development.
