In the Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Studies, we focus specifically on deepening aspects such as language, literature, theater, and the culture of the Spanish language in America and Spain, addressing the globality and variation of a language spoken by 600 million people worldwide. In addition to preparing you to teach these subjects at the secondary or university levels, you will be able to develop skills specific to other professions in the linguistic and philological sector, such as linguistic consulting, text editing and proofreading, and cultural management.

In our degree, you will experience what is known as "internationalization at home," as we not only offer you the opportunity to study abroad at other universities, but we also have a large number of students from all over the world. This degree is therefore developed in a multilingual and multicultural context that will prepare you to work professionally in centers around the world, both as a teacher and researcher of literature and as a teacher of Spanish as an additional language.

The degree is taught by highly qualified professionals in the field of language and literature, who are especially concerned with updating knowledge, teaching, and research, and who will advise and guide you throughout your training process.

All this can be carried out in a center, the Faculty of Philology, Translation, and Communication, and in the Department of Spanish Philology, where your formal education will be complemented by the option of attending multiple cultural and research activities organized throughout the academic period.
