Calender for implementation and phasing out
The updated curriculum for the undergraduate degree in Sociology will take effect in the 2010-2011 academic year. According to Article 11.3 of the Royal Decree 1497/1987, of 27 November, the curriculum leading to an official 5-year degree in Sociology at the University of Valencia will be phased out, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) of 14 August 1998. This introduction will be carried out in the following way: in the 2010-2011 academic year the 1st year will be introduced; in 2011-2012 the remaining years will be introduced. The 5-year degree will gradually be phased out.
