
The Degree in Speech Therapy of the Universitat de València celebrated the graduation of the 2022-2026 cohort on 11 July in an academic ceremony held in the Auditorium of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. The ceremony brought together students, families, teaching staff and representatives of the professional field to mark the completion of four years of university education.
During the event, the student representatives Liliana Llopis and Carmen Martín shared memories and experiences from their time at the University. The cohort sponsors, Professors Clara Puig and Ágata Lorenzo, also took part, having been chosen by the students in recognition of their contribution to the cohort’s educational process.
The ceremony also included the participation of Laura Montalva García, member of the Board of the Col·legi Oficial de Logopedes de la Comunitat Valenciana, who conveyed to the future graduates the importance of lifelong learning, professional responsibility and commitment to the users of speech therapy services.
Following the awarding of academic sashes, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy, Antonio Ferrer, addressed the cohort, highlighting the role of Speech Therapy as an essential discipline for promoting communication, participation and quality of life throughout the life span. The ceremony was closed, on behalf of the Rector of the Universitat de València, by Professor José María Montiel, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer.
The Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy congratulates the entire 2022-2026 cohort for the work and dedication shown over these years and wishes them a successful professional career in the service of society.
