Work placements are an activity of a training nature carried out by students and supervised by a tutor of the firm or institution where these are developed and by an academic tutor of the Universitat de Valencia. It has as main objective to allow the students to use and complement the acquired knowledge in their academic training, thus favouring at the same time the acquisition of competencies that prepare them for the exercising of professional activities, which facilitate their employability and promote their entrepreneurship ability.
There are two types of placements: curricular and extracurricular. Curricular placements are constituted as academic activities within the corresponding range of courses, in accordance with a module, topic or subject.
