Academic, scientific or professional interest:

The Degree in Telematics Engineering provides general instruction in engineering techniques and methods. Moreover, students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of the design and network administration (including wireless, access and transport networks) and telecommunications services, as well as telematics systems and applications. These studies have a great importance in present-day society, as a consequence of the social and economic potential of the internet and new technologies.

Worth Noting:

This degree entitles graduates to work as a technical telecommunications engineer, and therefore the skills (graduation profile) are defined as established in Order CIN/352/2009. Students must obtain a good level of English during their studies, thereby permitting degree holders to work for international companies. Even though the degree is taught in Catalan and Spanish, all subjects use support materials in English. Our intention is that 50% of the optional subjects will be taught in English. In the fourth academic year, students can choose to either finish their studies at the University of Valencia or at a different university. In this case, credit recognition will depend on the subjects taken.
