See you in the Fifth Healthy Walk of La Nau Gran - Universitat de València, which has some interesting new features that we review briefly below.

Registrations this year have to be done through ENTREU, the IT platform of the University, from 3 to 27 November. To enrol minors it is required an authorisation letter signed by their legal guardians (accompanied by a copy of the family register and a copy of the ID who authorises) We hope that these new features are welcomed as improvements in the organisation which will revert in higher quality participation guarantees. The rates do continue as in the past editions: 5 euros for individual registrations; 4 euros per person for group registrations (groups of at least 10 people); and 3 euros for family enrolments (at least 3 members). Here are the instructions for registration in Catalan and Spanish (one application for each person enrolled).

The beneficiary organisation of this year is Save the Children, to support their efforts in protecting children at risk of social exclusion. You can see their current projects on their website, however, they are an international organisation operating since 1919 and now they are working in more than 120 countries worldwide. Here in Spain, they provide comprehensive care to children and their families through school failure prevention programmes, safe spaces and family care, among others. It is intended that the economic situation or social exclusion in which children live does not prevent them from fully enjoying their rights and that they can achieve their fullest capabilities.

This year the organising committee is composed by the Office of the Vice-Principal for Training and Quality Education Policies and the full university professor of Comparative Education and History of Education, Ramón López Martín, as main responsible. With the participation of the Physical Education and Sports Service, which now becomes a co-organiser together with the University Extension Service.

And finally, the most visible change is the new poster design and the leaflet.

Remember, we’ll be waiting for you at 10:00 in the Botanical Garden from where we will start the Walk to the Office of the Principal of the UV (Av. Blasco Ibáñez, 13, accessing through Jaume Roig street). Once there, we will enjoy a healthy and restorative brunch after the Walk.
