This group addresses the study of different aspects of intracellular protein trafficking in plant cells and its possible implication in various functional aspects. In particular, the group develops two main lines of research:

1. Polar transport of auxins: intracellular trafficking of the auxin transporter PIN1.
2. The secretory pathway in plant cells: structural and functional peculiarities of the p24 protein family.
