The AS4EDI19 project, coordinated by the IRTIC in collaboration with LMT Group, has taken a new step forward after the participants of the iniciative have delivered their Individual Solution Designs. The review of these documents works towards the main objective of the action, which is the integration of AS4 protocol aligned with the eIDAS Regulation, emitted to standardise, amongst others, the processes related to eDelivery.

The European Comission is co-financing the project through the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA), under the CEF Telecom Program. This project is promoting the use of the eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) among public and private sector entities integrating the AS4 message protocol and their Service Metadata Publishers at certified access points from different member states.

With this action, the five access points of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) providers linked to the project (Crediflow AB, Tickstar AB, Qvalia Group AB, Net4market S.R.L. and mySupply ApS) will implement their services from AS2 to AS4. The CEF eDelivery solution is based on a network of nodes in which each participant becomes a node; in this way, companies, public administrations and citizens can easily and safely exchange data and electronic documents.
