The Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories presents Connecta-València platform in La Llosa de Ranes

The Chair of Intelligent and Sustainable Territories has made a presentation of the content and functionalities of the Connecta-València platform on Tuesday 27th May at the City Council of La Llosa de Ranes addressed to municipal technicians and members of the consistory.

The information covered by this service allows management decisions to be made based on real data, generating new services and business opportunities and, ultimately, improving the welfare of citizens while maintaining sustainability policies.

The contents of Connecta-València, its function and objectives were explained during a session that made use of the platform itself in real time. The audience was shown how to access the tool, the dashboards and other features.

Among those present were the mayor of La Llosa de Ranes, Salvi Pardo, the deputy mayor of the municipality, Javier Camarasa, and the deputy for European Funds, Electronic Administration and Innovation and mayor of Alfafar, Juan Ramón Adsuara.

Connecta-València integrates data from the network of sensors deployed in the municipalities of the province of Valencia, processes them and offers them to citizens through different channels. The sensors capture information on meteorology, such as temperature, humidity and wind, air quality, noise, mobility, parking availability and water consumption.

It also records water consumption and energy production from solar panels. Concentrating the available information in a single portal is one of the advantages of the platform, as well as the use of a common exchange format.

The presentation in the town hall of La Llosa de Ranes is part of the objective of the chair to promote digital transformation in the rural environment, encouraging the development and implementation of technological and sustainable solutions, favouring the competitiveness and innovation of the business fabric of the territory.
