Efforts to complete the ICELAND-INV18 project have continued this year, which during its past months the participants have focused on the implementation of the initiative. Eight Icelandic entities have worked to integrate an eInvoicing solution in line with the European standard EN16931, an activity that has been complemented by the interoperability and CEF conformance tests.

The project aims to support the Icelandic institutions that are part of it in the incorporation of the European EN electronic invoicing standard. The improvement will save costs and time both for the providers of the participants and for themselves and will make it possible to speed up procedures.

In this way, the 7 participating Icelandic public entities and the private sector one have focused during this phase on implementing their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) through the integration of an eInvoicing solution compliant to the EN16931.

The ICELAND-INV18 project has the participation of Universitat de València, LMT Group, Unimaze, FMS, Grímsnes, SKEIDA, OV, Akureyri, IST, ICEPRO, ORKUVEITA, Félagsbústaðir and Iceland Telecom.
